Street art Barcelona, Spain – July 2023 | Art Is Trash video

About Art Is Trash

Behind the name Art Is Trash stands Francisco de Pájaro, a street artist working in Barcelona – this video was published on 2023-07-04. Since 2009 he has turned rubbish left on the pavement – boxes, bags, mattresses, old furniture – into wild, comic figures painted on the spot. Most pieces last only a few hours – until the city's rubbish trucks come by. With humour and provocation he comments on consumerism, waste, politics and the art market.
