Street art Barcelona, Spain – January 2023 | Art Is Trash video

Who is behind Art Is Trash?

The video from 2023-01-10 documents another work by Francisco de Pájaro, better known as Art Is Trash. Instead of a studio he uses the street, painting directly on discarded objects and often improvising with whatever lies nearby. With humour and provocation he comments on consumerism, waste, politics and the art market. That makes every figure a one-off: once the street is cleaned, it is gone, and often only videos like this one remain.
